La Renault 4 era stata progettata per battere la concorrenza della Citroen che aveva già venduto milioni di automobili con la 2CV. Al contrario della 2CV, la Renault 4 era un po' più squadrata, con le forme da piccola station wagon. A casa mia avevamo la 2CV che per me resta un mito, mentre i miei vicini di casa avevano la Renault 4. Ciò significa che sono molto legato anche a questo modello, visto che molte volte ci accompagnava a scuola la nostra vicina di casa con questa macchina.
La prima Renault 4 é stata prodotta nel 1961 e l'ultimo modello è uscito dalle fabbriche nel 1993. In totale sono state vendute 8 milioni di Renault 4. Pochissime altre auto hanno avuto questo successo.
Un po' di nomi? La Volkswagen Golf, la Citroen 2CV, la FIAT 500 e la Mini.
The Renault 4 was designed to beat the competition of the Citroen which had already sold millions of cars with the 2CV. In contrast to the 2CV, Renault 4 was a bit more teams, with the forms from a small station wagon. At my house we had the 2CV, that is a myth to me, while my neighbors had the Renault 4. This means that also this car means a lot to me, as our neighbor many times pick us to school with this car.
