I Visitors anni '80

Questo Natale mi sono fatto regalare i DVD che mi mancavano per completare tutte le serie dei Visitors anni '80 e...Me le sono sparate tutte! La prima serie era del 1982, ma in Italia non arrivò prima dell'84/85, col risultato che la serie, in realtà andò in onda fino all'87-88.

Questo significa che i Visitors sono stati il mio primo telefilm. E li amavo! La storia era troppo interessante!

A vederli oggi: l'idea non é male. La prima e la seconda stagione, poi reggono ancora ora. Ovviamente bisogna non tenere conto degli effetti speciali, superatissimi, e purtroppo, ancor meno, della recitazione: davvero penosa!!!

Deludente invece la terza e ultima stagione. Davvero noiosa. Oramai era una soap opera dove alcuni personaggi erano degli alieni. Diana invece che essere la temibile aliena con poteri sovrannaturali, sembra una sfigata. Lidia, a parte recitare di merda, sembra proprio un personaggio di Dallas. Juliet inesistente, mentre dovrebbe essere un'eroina. Donovan più attento al suo fisico (della Madonna!!!) che non a fare il guerriero. Kyle almeno é bono! Mentre il personaggio di Elizabeth é veramente una palla al piede!!!! Per non parlare di Robyn che nonostante il taglio di capelli che la voleva trasformare in personaggio più adulto, rimane una demente di prima categoria! Insomma un capolavoro rovinato forse da esigenze di raccolta pubblicitaria, che quindi la televisione stessa ha trasformato in una telenovela di serie B.

Peccato.

This Christmas I received the DVDs  I needed to complete all the series of Visitors in the 80's and...I saw them all!!!! The first series was set in 1982, but did not arrive in Italy until 84 to 85, with the result that the series actually aired up until 87-88. 

This means that the Visitors were my first show. And I loved them! The plot was too interesting! 

Seeing them today: the idea is not bad. The first and second season stand up again now. Obviously, you do not take account of special effects, and unfortunately, of acting: really painful! 

Disappointing but the third and final season. Really boring. I became a soap opera where some characters were aliens. Diana instead of being the fearsome alien with supernatural powers, it seems a sucker. Lidia, apart from acting like shit, looks like a character in Dallas. Juliet does not exist, but she should be a heroine. Donovan closer to her body (really hot!!!!!) Than to do the warrior. Kyle, at least is really hot too! While the character of Elizabeth is really a ball and chain!! Not to mention Robyn  that despite the haircut that wanted to transform her into more adult character, remains a first class lunatic! In short, a masterpiece perhaps ruined by the need for advertising, so that television itself has turned into a soap opera series B. 

Too bad.
