E' da decenni ormai che Rotterdam é la capitale dell'architettura contemporanea. E' il luogo dove si sperimenta. Ci potrebbe aspettare quindi una cittá bellissima ed invece io ci sono stato e devo dire che é oscena. Innanzitutto non é a misura d'uomo. In secondo luogo é troppo grigia. Pare invece che questo nuovo progetto di un mercato diciamo rionale voglia smentirmi! L'arco al cui interno si sviluppa questa specie di centro commerciale, e formato da appartamenti, disposti in due facciate che appunto si incontrano ad arco.
It's been decades since Rotterdam is the capital of contemporary architecture. It 's the place where one experiences. We might expect then a beautiful city and instead I have been there and I must say that is obscene. Primarily, it is not built in a human scale. Secondly it is too gray. It seems that this new plan of a local market instead want to change the things! The range within which it develops this kind of shopping center, and consists of apartments, arranged in two sides meet at precisely that period.
